The State of North Dakota has much to offer its residents and visitors. It is known as one of the friendliest states in the United States, as well as one of the safest in which to live. North Dakota borders Canada and the states of Montana, South Dakota, and Minnesota. There are several colleges and universities in North Dakota, and students are able to attend school in this state while enjoying the state’s relatively low cost of living. North Dakota offers many opportunities for leisure and recreational activities such as hunting, fishing, wildlife viewing, hiking, and enjoying the beauty of nature in its most pristine form. The sparse population in North Dakota is part of the state’s draw. While there are no major metropolitan areas in North Dakota, the state’s residents are gracious and welcoming.
